Students coming from outside India / Maharashtra / Pune must bring a School Leaving
Certificate & entire details of their grades previously passed from their Ex school and all
the sets of exam results. Parents please note that the admission made provisionally
without submission of documents will be treated as cancelled, if the necessary documents
are not submitted within 15 days from the date of provisional admission. For fresh
admission (Preprimary to Class I) parent must submit original Birth Certificate. For
(Class II and above) parent must submit the original Leaving Certificate of the child from
the recognized school duly counter signed by the competent authority along with the
progress report.

interest of the child abide by the rules & regulations laid down by the school.

all personal data changes from time to time. The parents profile tab will be checked
during entry to the school campus and before handing over your ward in case you

attending private coaching classes or competitions, exams etc.

schools will take all steps to ensure the same. However, there are certain unforeseen
incidents / accidents which are beyond the control of the school authorities when
students are in the school premises and/or take part in any indoor, outdoor activities
including but not limited to picnics , excursions, school gatherings, functions etc. or
any other activity that may be conducted by the school as a part of learning and if
some untoward incident / accident occurs for that the responsibility, liability will not
be on the school management, authorities. The school management, authorities will
not be held responsible for any loss or damage or injury of whatsoever nature caused
to the student inside/outside the school. The school management, authorities will be
indemnified from any and all liabilities, claims, suit, demands, costs, interest,
expense and judgments arising from such incident, accident including but not
limited to any accident or injury to the students and the costs of medical expenses.

The Parent-Teacher Association is set up as per the guidelines provided by the
Government. The General Body of the Forum is constituted of all the parents whose
children are studying in the school. The Executive Committee of the Association is a
nominated body represented by parents and teachers of the school. Principal of the school
is the ex-officio President of the Association. PTA plays a pivotal role in making
decisions from time to time regarding the welfare of the school students. PTA facilitates
closer association between parents and teachers in their effort to make the school an ideal
place for the all-round education of our children. It also offers parents a platform to
express their views freely and frankly, thereby involving them in a process of mutual
participation aimed at the welfare of the students studying at CIS.
Parents must realize that school is a second home for children. They need all the
considerations in their favour by way of safety and security, love and co-curricular work.
It is from this point of view that we expect parents and guardians to follow the guidelines
and rules given below meticulously.

Parents are expected to go through the school calendar carefully and make a note of
important dates and events, especially parent-teacher meetings, tests and
examinations. We expect the parents to come in large numbers and meet the
concerned teachers to discuss not only the academic progress but also other areas of
personality development like behaviour, discipline etc.

Wearing of fancy shoes, jewellery, unruly hair etc is not permitted at school. Skirt
hemlines are to be knee-length.

Parents/Guardians are not permitted to enter class rooms to meet their children or to
seek unscheduled interviews with teachers during school hours. Prior appointment
for meeting the staff must necessarily be taken through schools official Email.

Relatives / tuition teachers are not allowed to Meet students, teachers, staff at the

Parents are encouraged to use the services of official contractual school bus / van
operator. Parents should not use unlicensed and illegal bus / van / rickshaw
operators. Auto rickshaws with improvised seating for many young children are an
illegal and dangerous mode of transportation and are totally banned by the
Government.

Pick up point for private commuters are at the school gate. Relatives, driver or
family friend are not allowed to pick the students from the school without prior
written intimation from the parents.

Once the student has entered the school premises, parents and guardians are not
permitted to take him/her back home during the school hours unless there is a major
emergency. In such cases, the permission of the Principal is mandatory. Lunch
boxes and water bottles are not allowed to be sent for students once they have
entered the school premises.

Parents and guardians must know that our school teachers are not allowed to take
private tuitions. Parents should not request the teachers of our school to accept
private tuition for their wards. The official Principal’s email id may be used to
inform any irregularity in this regard.

in their residential address, contact number, email.

Any communication that parents wish to make with the teachers/staff of the school
must be addressed to the official school email id only.

No student and / or Parent shall indulge, participate, promote any type of agitation
direct or indirect i.e. Andolan, protest, social media campaign etc. with or without
the help of Political parties, NGO’s, associations, forums, public at large or any
other entity for their grievance or complaint, suggestions, demand, opinion related to
any and every school matter and schools policies eg. Fees, timetable, expulsion,
retention of student in a class, disciplinary action by the school against student, staff
or parent. Any students and / or parents found indulging in the same will be expelled
permanently from the School by issuing report card, TC / LC with immediate effect
without assigning any reason, explanation what so ever. The decision of the School
management shall be final and binding to all the stakeholders.

Parents must reinforce the values of empathy, respect, and accountability, which are
essential for students development both inside and outside the classroom to avoid
the growing concern regarding instances of arrogance and disrespectful behaviour
displayed by students towards teachers and fellow classmates.

treating everyone—peers and educators with dignity and courtesy at all times.

The use of gadgets, including mobile phones, is strictly prohibited within the
classroom and school premises. These rules are in place to minimize distractions,
ensure student safety, prevent the use of unfair means linked to social media
engagement, and protect students from potential mental health impacts etc.

Parents must Monitor or supervise their child’s digital or social media activity,
guide them in responsible and safe use of the internet and have open conversations
about the risks and long-term consequences of sharing personal content online.

Last but not the least, we expect parents and guardians to be cordial and polite with
the teachers, staff of the school at all times. Parents are also requested to maintain a
proper dress code while entering the school premises.

Discipline is the law of nature. Without it, nothing works. Inculcating discipline amongst
children is the most significant aspect of education and is not confined to school alone.
Parents, too, must co-operate with the school in observing these rules:

Attendance is compulsory for celebration of National Days.

Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence from school, habitual late
coming, leaving the school premises without permission, disobedience and any type
of unruly behaviour, act of violence, bullying other students and objectionable
behaviour in school premises and on social media platforms are considered to be
grave acts of indiscipline on the part of a student which can lead to his/her
permanent expulsion from the school.

The school uniform, only in prescribed school color, should be clean and smart, and
should be worn on all working days and functions. Actions will be taken against
students who are habitually improperly dressed.

Students on their way to and from the school are expected to conduct themselves in
a responsible manner. Being on the road in any mode of transport entails caution,
care and attention to safety rules.

Students who expect to reach home late after the school due to personal reasons
must inform their parents/ guardians in advance.

Students are expected to take proper care of the school property. It is for their
convenience. They should not break any item of furniture and fixtures, equipments
within the school.

They should not write, scratch or engrave graffiti on desks, chairs, classroom or
washroom walls and other surfaces.

They should not damage or use things belonging to other students.

Damage done even by accident must be reported at once to the Principal/
Supervisor/ Teachers. Anyone who notices something damaged must report the
matter to any of the personnel mentioned above.

If a student causing damage to the school property is identified, he/she will be
charged for the damage along with fine.

In the event of collective damage to school property in a classroom, the entire class
occupying that classroom will have to bear the cost of damages with fine and
punitive action.

The school is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings. It is not advisable
for students to bring valuables to the school.

Parents are requested not to give high amounts to their ward. If for some reason,
she/he carry large amount of money, written information must be sent to school via

Running and shouting in the school premises is not allowed. While using staircases
and corridors, all must keep to the left. Loitering in the lobby and the office areas is
strictly forbidden even during recess.

Bus monitors and Bus staff are responsible for orderly behaviour in the bus. They
must ensure that only those students who hold a valid bus pass travel in the bus. Any

withdrawal of the bus facility.

Using unfair means in a test or examination is a grave offence. A student who is
found using unfair means will be awarded zero in the subject and will be issued a
strict warning. Repetition of the same offence will result in his/her expulsion from
the school.

Students are not permitted to use cellular phones and gadgets in the school premises.
If a student uses a mobile phone, gadget, I pad in the school without prior
permission, it will be confiscated for a period of one months and a fine will be
imposed. Students are not allowed to use school phones without permission.
Students cannot be called to the school offices to attend to phone calls during school
hours. However, in case of emergency, the telephone may be used by the students.

Misbehaviour inside the school premises or in the school conveyance may also lead
to disciplinary action against the concerned student. Objectionable behaviour, use of
abusive language, discourtesy and disrespect to the teachers, disobedience and
irregular attendance will also lead to strict disciplinary action.

Under no circumstances will crackers, fireworks, firearms and any other
inflammable material be permitted in school. A student indulging in any act of
indiscipline could be suspended / expelled from the school.

To ensure discipline and adherence to rules of the school for creating a safe &
secure environment for all our stake holders, our school follows a strict disciplinary
warning and action system for handling any / all misbehaviour. If a student
misbehaviour is noted for the first time, for minor misbehaviour / indiscipline or if
the student does not comply with the rules, regulations and expectations of the school then a red warning card will be made in the name of the student, and or a
suspension of half day upto 7 days depending on the misbehaviour / indiscipline
noted, other legal action / compliance can be initiated against the student as per
Management policy and Government statute. Students can be directly expelled from
the school depending on the seriousness of misbehaviour / indiscipline.

warning card will be made in the name of student along with other disciplinary
actions such as suspension from school from 1 working day upto 15 working days

can be initiated against the student as per Management policy and Government
statute. Students can be directly expelled from the school depending on the
seriousness of misbehaviour / indiscipline.

up with independent school bus/vans vendor contractors as per the Maharashtra

/s PRE-2008 / 506/11) Part –I dated 14 September 2011. Parents desirous of availing
the transport facility may do so.

Parents are expected to co-operate with the school bus vendor contractor by
ensuring that their children travelling in the buses report at their embarking points
well on time, behave in a disciplined way, in the interest of their own safety as well
as that of the other students.

In case of any problem or any mishap, the parents are advised to avoid any
altercation with drivers and conductors. They should immediately contact the bus
contractor. The school will ensure appropriate action in such circumstances. For any
information whatsoever, parents are expected not rely on any information that they
may get from drivers and conductors. For information related to their wards and
academic process, timing or working days, they should contact the school directly.

Students are not allowed to travel in any other bus route except their own route.

The bus drivers are authorized to stop the bus only at the designated stops. The bus
will not wait for latecomers.

Students are expected to behave in a courteous manner. Be seated when the bus is in
motion. No student is allowed to stand on the footboard.
